Seeking “wild and grassy landscapes” for their latest fashion shoot, Matches Fashion chose Whitehall Farm on the Romney Marsh as the location for a recent photographic shoot to best promote the latest Chloe Aw16 collection.
Inspired by adventurer Anne-France Dautheville’s solo motorcycle trip across the continents, Chloe’s collection is feminine yet boyish, and mixes ruffles and leathers with a free spirited grace. Matches Fashion was seeking outdoors locations with big open skies, soft colours and wild grassy fields. The Romney Marsh provides those types of landscapes, and in abundance.
Organised by Belinda from production company Shiny Projects, with photographer Jem Mitchell and stylist Sophie Van Der Welle, the photo shoot was completed on a balmy Autumn day in late September.
