Today, most farmers need to diversify to keep their heads above water. To be just a sheep farmer is not enough. Costs continue to increase, while selling prices fluctuate.
Farm Locations is our way to diversify without spoiling our slices of the Kent and Sussex countryside. Offering our farms as temporary shoot locations create no lasting eyesore or impact. Also, and more exciting for me, is the ambition to put Britain’s countryside on the pedestal it deserves, and with our new shoot locations which offer so much variety and beauty, we question why production companies or personnel should flee the UK to shoot their film or stills.
Our shoot locations on the farms are just an hour or so from London. They celebrate Britain’s countryside at their best. They are so very photogenic. And we don’t charge the earth (nor is there a middle man to deal with). We want to work with you, not against you. We want to keep our farms as working farms, earn a living, and importantly diversify into something which has no lasting effect of spoiling these beautiful landscapes we are guardians of.
These views of unspoilt rolling countryside are few and far between in the UK. We are determined to preserve them.
